Our story began with the founding of the Australian Homestay Network (AHN), which developed the original and ‘appropriate’ national standards for homestay in Australia. AHN made its first placement in 2008 and has since become Australia’s leading homestay provider. AHN’s world-class standards, technology and best practices have also been implemented in New Zealand with the establishment of New Zealand Homestay in 2022.
The Australian Homestay Network is proud to be the first hosted accommodation provider to be endorsed by the National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) in the category of Quality Products and Services (Area O – Homestay Service Providers).
