Ensuring international students have access to quality accommodation is an integral part of delivering a positive student experience. The Global Homestay Network (GHN) has placed more international students in high quality, safe and well-managed homestays than any similar program
Our story began with the founding of the Australian Homestay Network (AHN), which developed the original and ‘appropriate’ national standards for homestay in Australia. AHN made its first placement in 2008 and has since become Australia’s leading homestay provider. AHN’s world-class standards, technology and best practices have also been implemented in the United States with the establishment of the American Homestay Network in 2012. Together, our group has placed over 63,000 students from 183 countries with approved homestay hosts across Australia and the USA.
GHN has placed more than 63,000 international students from 183 countries in welcoming homestay environments
We conduct training, in-home interviews and background checks for hosts to ensure every student is in safe hands
Our programs include homestay solutions for younger students and over 18s as well as study tour groups
In addition to Australia and the USA, GHN is actively working to develop new destination markets
GHN’s range of student homestay packages are priced according to the living costs and services available in each region, providing the best value for money option in the early stages of an international student being welcomed, culturalised and accommodated as they prepare for the commencement of their studies
